On affected vehicles and only when an emergency braking function is initiated via the Electro-mechanical Parking Brake (EPB) button, the brake lights at the rear of the vehicle fail to illuminate. What are the hazards?
If an emergency braking operation is initiated via the electro-mechanical parking brake (EPB) button, the rear brake lights will not illuminate, which may cause a hazard for other road users.
