The transmission fluid pump gears could fail while driving.
What are the hazards?
Transmission fluid pump gear failure can cause a loss of hydraulic fluid pressure in the transmission, which can result in a loss of motive power. This could increase the risk of an accident and injury to a vehicle occupant or other road users. In the event of a serious accident this may result in death.
