What are the defects?

Due to a change in production process, the threaded connection between the piston rod and screw cap may not be sufficiently tight. If the piston rod detaches from the screw cap, this will result in damage to the inside of the fork and it may seize.

What are the hazards?

If the defect occurs, this can impact the bikes handling and operation which could pose an accident hazard to the rider or other road users.

What should consumers do?

The vehicle should not be ridden until inspected by an authorised HQVA
(Husqvarna) dealer. Contact an authorised dealer to arrange a booking and inspection . Authorised dealers can be located at www.husqvarna-motorcycles.com.au

Customers with sold bikes will be sent an official recall notification
