What are the defects?
Due to an incorrect heat treatment process, the inner tubes for the front forks may crack.
What are the hazards?
The inner fork tube may crack. This may adversely affect the forks' function and cause the bike / rider to crash, resulting in serious injury.
What should consumers do?
Cease using the affected vehicles and arrange for the faulty components to be replaced by calling any authorised KTM dealer.
