What are the defects?
Possibility that the replacement desiccated Takata airbag inflators fitted to the vehicles were manufactured improperly and may not fully inflate the front passenger airbag during deployment.
What are the hazards?
If the passenger airbag does not fully inflate, this may increase the risk of injury in the event of an accident.
What should consumers do?
Owners of the involved vehicles will be contacted by mail, requesting the registered owner to make an appointment at their preferred Lexus Dealer for rectification, which will be conducted free of charge.
