What are the defects?
The engine may not restart after being switched off.
What are the hazards?
If the engine fails to restart, the vehicle will not be able to be moved. This may pose a hazard to the vehicle occupants and other road users.
What should consumers do?
Mazda Australia will contact all affected consumers. Consumers will be advised to present their vehicle to their preferred Mazda Dealer for a revised PCM calibration to be installed at no charge.
