What are the defects?

The closure material of the engine plugs might fail as a result of high engine oil pressures, which may occur during hard driving. This could result in oil leaks. If enough oil leaks, there will be a red warning message illuminated in the instrument cluster. If the warning message is ignored, the engine could run dry, which can result in stalling and engine damage.

What are the hazards?

Leaking oil might fall onto the road, increasing the risk of a crash for the following traffic, which could result in serious injuries or death of other road users.

If the low oil warning message was ignored, the engine could run dry and stall. If the vehicle stalls in traffic, this could result in an accident leading to serious injury or death of vehicle occupants and other road users.
