What are the hazards?
If the defect occurs, and in the presence of external ignition source, there is a possibility of a fire hazard.
What should consumers do?
Owners of vehicles within the affected VIN range will be advised to contact their Nissan Dealer to arrange for the fuel pressure sensor to be inspected and where necessary re-tightened. The rectification will be at no cost to owners.
