What are the hazards?
If the brake lamp switch fails, this poses a hazard to the driver and other road users.
What should consumers do?
Owners of vehicles within the affected VIN range will be sent letters advising to contact their Nissan Dealer to arrange for replacement of the stop lamp switch. The replacement will be at no cost to owners.
