What are the defects?
On affected vehicles, the cooling strategy and maximum temperature alert might cause engine overheating.
What are the hazards?
If the engine overheats and the engine seizes while being driven, the vehicle may stop suddenly, posing an accident risk for the vehicle occupants and other road users.
What should consumers do?
Peugeot Australia will contact known owners by mail and advise them to present their vehicle to their preferred Peugeot authorised dealer to have the engine computer software updated in order to prevent the possibility of the engine overheating.
