What are the defects?
The rear axle bolts may not have been tightened in accordance with the required specifications.
What are the hazards?
If the rear axle becomes loose, the roadholding of the vehicle may worsen, which will increase the risk of an accident and injury to vehicle occupants and other road users.
What should consumers do?
Owners of affected vehicles will be notified of the recall and asked to contact a Renault dealer to arrange for inspection and repair of their vehicle, if necessary. Any repairs will be free of charge.
