What are the defects?
Potential failure of the inner wall of the shock absorber may cause fragments to adhere to the piston ring.
What are the hazards?
In certain operating conditions the front-rear and rear-rear shock absorbers may bend or break. This could cause interference with the tyre and cause it to burst, which poses a risk of fire.
What should consumers do?
