What are the defects?
Due to possible caulking on the cable tip at the centre drum being improperly shaped, the tip may get caught in a stanted direction against the groove in the parking brake lever during the park brake operation. If the vehicle is operated under these conditions it may malfunction.
What are the hazards?
Equipment malfunction.
