What are the defects?
The air tank securing brackets may develop cracks and this may result in air tanks falling from the vehicle.
What are the hazards?
If the defect occurs, this may result in air loss in the braking system and debris being dropped onto the road. This poses a hazard to the driver and other road users.
What should consumers do?
A letter is being sent to affected owners. Air tank brackets will be replaced free of charge.
