What are the defects?
The Active Brake Assist (ABA) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC+) systems may become unavailable on specific vehicles due to an internal defect of the radar sensor.
Before the failure occurs and depending on the extent of the damage, the driver can see in the instrument cluster that the ABA indicator lamp goes on after switching on the ignition and does not turn back off. After pressing the ABA button, a fault message appears on the display.
