What are the defects?
The guide's microphone on the affected vehicles has been installed in the deployment area of the passenger airbag.
What are the hazards?
If the front passenger airbag were to be activated, it might come into contact with the guide's microphone and could prevent the airbag from unfolding properly. This could result in occupants being more seriously injured.
What should consumers do?
Owners are requested to contact any Authorised Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Dealer who will reposition the guide's microphone free of charge.
