What are the defects?
The front central passenger seat belt could unclip from the buckle when braking or avoiding obstacles.
What are the hazards?
If the front central passenger buckle unclips, the seat belt would not secure the passenger in the event of sudden braking or an accident, and there is a risk of serious injury.
What should consumers do?
Citroen Australia will contact all known owners by mail and advise them to present their vehicle to their preferred Authorised Citroen dealer, to have the size of the central buckle modified with shrinkable tubing and a foam pad.
