What are the defects?
A concern has been detected relating to the engine air intake duct which may become disconnected due to thermal loading combined with normal engine vibration. If this happens, the engine will exhibit rough idling and in a worst case scenario the engine may stall.
What are the hazards?
Mechanical malfunction.
What should consumers do?
Contact their nearest Nissan dealer to arrange for rectification of their vehicle. This rectification will consist of replacement of the engine air intake duct with a counter measure part.
