Warning lights will illuminate, indicating to the driver that the VSC is not activated.

What are the hazards?

A loss of vehicle control will increase the risk of an accident, causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

What should consumers do?

Toyota will contact affected owners in writing, requesting that owners make an appointment at their preferred Toyota dealer to update the software program, free of charge.
