What are the defects?

Due to a manufacturing defect the transmission wiring harness may be damaged. The damage can allow moisture into the wiring harness, which may cause a short circuit resulting in a vehicle fire.

What are the hazards?

A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users, bystanders, and/or damage to property.

What should consumers do?
