What are the defects?
Due to an assembly line issue, the fuel pipe installation may not meet manufacturing specifications and could become damaged due to movement between the pipe, the body and the protective cover. If left unrepaired, this may result in diesel fuel leaking from the damaged pipe which could result in a vehicle fire.
What are the hazards?
A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users or bystanders.
What should consumers do?
