What are the defects?
Due to a manufacturing defect, the fuel delivery pipe may become damaged due to contact with the engine wiring harness. As a result, fuel may leak in the presence of an external ignition source resulting in a vehicle fire.
Note: Vehicle occupants may identify a fuel odour when driving and/or fuel under vehicle.

What are the hazards?
A vehicle fire could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants, other road users or bystanders and/or property.
What should consumers do?
Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted in writing by Renault Australia to schedule an appointment to have the fuel supply pipe inspected and replaced, free of charge.
