What are the defects?
Due to a software issue, the brake lights may not illuminate as intended when the service brakes are automatically applied during an Active Brake Assist (AEB) activation.
What are the hazards?
If the brake lamps do not operate as intended, it may increase the risk of an accident causing serious injuries or death to vehicle occupants and/or road users.
Vehicles are not compliant with Australian Design Rule (ADR) 13/00 - Installation of Lighting and Light Signalling Devices on other than L-Group Vehicles.
