What are the defects?
The rear cabin window polycarbonate panel may have poor adhesion. As a result, it may detach from the vehicle under certain driving conditions.
What are the hazards?
If the rear window detaches from the vehicle whilst driving, there is an increase risk of injury or death to road users and bystanders.
What should consumers do?
McLaren will contact affected owners in writing requesting they make an appointment with their preferred authorised McLaren Dealer to have the rectification work carried out, free of charge.
