What are the defects?

Due to a manufacturing defect in the Adaptive High Beam System cracks may develop over time resulting in the LED reflector detaching from the reflector motor inside the headlamp assembly. If this occurs, the AHS function and automatic high beam may not operate as intended and a warning message will be displayed.

What are the hazards?

Vehicles are not compliant with Australian Design Rule (ADR) 13/00 - Installation of Lighting and Light Signalling Devices on other than L-Group Vehicles.

What should consumers do?

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Lexus and are asked to make an appointment to have the work carried out, free of charge.
