What are the defects?
The tyres within this production range may not meet specifications and could develop cracking, deflation or deformation of the tyre tread. If this occurs, it could lead to a loss of trailer control.
The towbar gross capacity of the trailer may not meet specifications. As a result, the trailer could detach from the tow vehicle.
The safety chain fitted to the trailer may be underrated for the trailer’s Aggregate Trailer Mass (ATM). In the event of the trailer unhitching from the tow vehicle whilst in transit, the safety chain may fail resulting in the trailer becoming detached from the tow vehicle.
