What are the defects?
Due to a manufacturing defect, the front drive sprocket may wear prematurely. As a result the vehicle may experience a loss of propulsion.
What are the hazards?
A loss of propulsion while riding could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to rider(s) and other road users.
What should consumers do?
Owners of affected motorcycles will be contacted by BRP and asked to make an appointment to have the work carried out free of charge.
