What are the defects?

Due to a manufacturing issue, the Handlebar Stem bolt may break. If this occurs the vehicle may experience a sudden loss of steering.

What are the hazards?

A loss of steering control could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death of vehicle occupants and/or other road users.

What should consumers do?

Owners of affected motorcycles should contact their authorised BRP Can-Am On-Road dealer as soon as possible, to install the new handlebar stem bolt free of charge.

BRP is requesting owners to stop riding their vehicle until the recall repair is performed.

BRP will offer a fixed credit to your preferred dealer for towing expenses.
