What are the defects?

Due to a manufacturing defect, the position light and flasher electrical harnesses in the front fenders may become loose and rub on the tyres. This could lead to a short circuit and the engine may stall during vehicle operation and may not be possible to be restarted.

What are the hazards?

A loss of power while driving increases the risk of an accident, causing serious injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.

What should consumers do?

Owners of affected motorcycles should contact their authorised BRP Can-Am On-Road dealer and schedule an appointment to have the safety recall performed on your vehicle, free of charge.
