What are the defects?
Due to a production defect, the wiring harness in vehicles with electrically adjustable rotating seats may become damaged over time due to operation of the seat adjustment. This could also impair the deployment of the side airbag installed in the seat.
What are the hazards?
In the event of an accident, an airbag not deploying as intended could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants.
