If the electric brake locks, it may cause unintended braking leading to unpredictable vehicle operation. This could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.
What should consumers do?
If the vehicle is not in service, it should not be sold to the final owner until inspected and rectification action undertaken if required.
