What are the defects?
The rear spare wheel carrier U-bolt may not meet manufacturing specifications. As a result, the rear spare wheel carrier could detach from the vehicle.
What are the hazards?
If the rear spare wheel carrier detaches from the vehicle whilst driving, it may increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to road users and bystanders, and/or damage to property.
What should consumers do?
Owners of affected vehicles should either raise a warranty claim via the Cub Campers website www.cubcampers.com.au or alternatively, contact the head office to arrange for the bolts to be replaced.
